Campismo Playita de Cajobabo
The camping Playita de Cajobabo is located in the town of Cajobabo, being easily accessible by its proximity to the road. Its environment, characterized by an extraordinary natural abundance, has several elevations and rivers such as the Jojo, perfect for disconnecting and recharging batteries.
In the town near the camp is the house-museum where the National Hero of Cuba, Jose Marti, stayed overnight after his landing on the nearby beach of Cajobabo, to later join the war of 1895, a site of relevant importance for national history.
The name Cajobabo is of aboriginal origin and means "place of abundant mahogany". Walks to places of historical interest, hiking, fishing or horseback riding are some of the main activities to do while in the camping.
The site, very simple, 2 stars, has a restaurant and cafeteria with basic options of cuisine, as well as a games room, sports area and TV room. About half of the cabins, those larger, have a private bathroom, the rest do not. They also have ventilation.
A camping valid for those without great demands and wanting to explore the Cuban nature. Very basic services but great adventure opportunities.
