Hotel Niquero
The Hotel Niquero is located in the Desembarco del Granma Natural Park, a place full of vegetation and native fauna of the region, although it is also very close to the Cabo Cruz Lighthouse. That is why it is an attractive destination for those looking to relax in a quiet fishing village, halfway between the ocean and the mountains.
The Desembarco del Granma Park is, certainly, a place of difficult access, but from where you can contemplate the greatness of the Sierra Maestra. It is also very close to the Marea del Portillo beach, with its warm and calm water.
From here you can enjoy special days outdoors, discover incredible trails, go into caves, marine terraces and visit the Desembarco del Granma National Park. The most popular trails are El Guafe, with its 200 meters distance and two hours of travel, and the Morlotte-Fustete, with 2300 meters of trajectory.
The Hotel Niquero, with two stars category, has the basic comforts for a pleasant and relaxed stay. It has a bar and restaurant, nightly entertainment program and a shop selling basic necessities. The rooms, in turn, are comfortable and quite traditional in terms of furniture and decoration, in keeping with the rest of the hotel. They have air conditioning, bathroom, cable TV, telephone and radio.
In general, the hotel is not bad for a couple of nights, considering its level of quality. The lowest point would be for the staff, not always very professional.
