Hotel Bayamo
Managed by the Cuban chain Islazul, the 2-star hotel Villa Bayamo appears as one of the best options, although simple, for those who want to stay in the periphery of Bayamo, surrounded by palm trees.
The villa is distinguished by its natural environment, large spaces full of vegetation and relative proximity to the historic center of the city, famous for its houses of colonial architecture and parks.
As it is a low-class hotel, it does not have many facilities, although it does have a children's playground, a restaurant where traditional Cuban food and some of the international dishes are served, although limited, as well as a pool where you can cool off from the heat. It also has free parking, night activities program, medical services and national/international telephony.
The 34 rooms, on the other hand, are small and simple, practical, but stand out for their cleanliness and organization. They include air conditioning, hot and cold water (can present problems), cable TV and bathroom.
Villa Bayamo is also distinguished by the good service of its staff.
A valid option, near the center of the city and the Sierra Maestra National Park, to be closer to the real Cuba.
