Hotel Melia Jardines del Rey
Despite being very new (it opened in 2015) the 5 star Jardines del Rey resort has rapidly become very popular for those interested in scuba diving, fishing and bird watching. However, itís also an ideal place for families seeking some authentic Caribbean vacation time, couples on honeymoon and even for businessmen looking where to celebrate their meetings.

Melia Jardines del Rey is in general a wonderful beach resort. Somehow resembling a sugar plantation, the hotelís boulevard stretches right from the lobby to the beach. This is the area where to find the resortís top attractions: two buffet & five ŗ la carte restaurants, featuring gourmet, Cuban traditional, Italian and international cuisine; two snack bars with the very best of both national and foreign cocktails, four outdoor swimming pools, including one for kids, and handicraft stalls & games, just to mention.

However, out of this area guests will find tennis courts, games room and a very well equipped gym and fitness center. Those looking to practice non-motorised water sports will have some memorable fun, too, since the Flamenco beach is not far from a huge coral reef, perfect for diving and snorkeling.

The resortsí 1 176 rooms are distributed amongst 25 3-storey bungalows linked by pathways, some of them (117) with stunning sea views. Modern and tastefully decorated, they all include air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, ensuite bath with hot and cold water, minibar and safe, among others.
